Anywho, I wasn't hungry enough to dine at the buffet for lunch, so I stopped by JB's Gourmet Sandwich Shop and ordered a Chicago Style Hot Dog (Yum!) which came with chips and a drink. I paid using my TR points.
I also have 4 coupons for free buffets ...one for each week in July, as well as some free play. The Horseshoe is only about a 45 min drive from my house, so I'm tempted to go back next month.
Gambling wise, I didn't lose too much of my Vegas fund ...only $50. I spent around 4 hours playing the quarter VP, mostly JOB since I usually have better luck playing JOB than with some of the other games. I'm still waiting for my first Royal Flush, but it never seems to happen. I kept hitting full houses, straights, flushes, 3 of a kind, and a bunch of 2-pairs, so I didn't have to keep feeding the machines which is alway nice! I actually lost that $50 on the slots ...WOF, Wolfs Run, 3x4x5x. I did see 3 hand pays while I was there ...2 for VP and one for the penny slots ...unfortunately, none for me!
Oh, and Terry Fator is scheduled to appear at the Horseshoe in July, but only for one night. I wouldn't mind seeing his show, but it looks like all of the good seats are sold out already and I don't want to sit way back in the cheap seats. I guess I'll try and catch his show on my next trip to Las Vegas.
